In 2007, Sure Light Sign moved into a 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility. This move has afforded Sure Light to continue to grow and is aligned with our plans to be a world-class organization.
The Elgin plant has complete sign fabrication capabilities as well as a complete fleet service area, graphics center, warehousing, and administration.
Channel Letter Production - Complete channel letter fabrication line with a computer driven CNC router, channel letter bending equipment, power clinchers, channel face fabrication and wiring/lighting installation. Channel letters can be produced using neon or LED lighting.
- Sign Production - A comprehensive wall/box sign production line which includes a 12' hydraulic metal shear, a 12' brake, several finger brakes, welding, grinding, assembly, and wiring/lighting workstations. A complete pylon/monument sign production area creates custom and production units. This work area includes similar stations as our box sign areas. Electronic message centers are often incorporated into these products as well. Included in this area is a 2-ton, moveable gantry as well as an automated hoist system to move large sign projects through the production process.
- Neon - Sure Light Sign has a custom neon department which allows us to create custom neon applications, production pieces, as well as service neon signage in for repair.
- Graphics Production - The graphic production department includes digital printers, plotters, and production/computer workstations where they create sign faces, banners, posters, vehicle graphics, and more.
- Finishing - A new 400 sq ft, state-of-the-art, computer controlled finishing booth and custom paint mixing system were installed in 2008. Sure Light can match any PMS or Sherwin Williams paint color exactly and then bake it off at 180 degrees to ensure a quality, long-lasting finish.
- Shipping/Receiving/Warehousing - Our shipping & receiving department ensures your signs are received in perfect condition and shipped without error. Our warehouse provides ample space to house signage for stocking programs and production customers as well as staging for national sign company installs.
