
The Regional Sales Consultant will increase revenue in local and regional business while ensuring appropriate communication and smooth work flow between our customers, and within the sales and program management teams. The employee will develop a profile-based book of suspects and organically convert prospects into viable opportunities. Additionally, the employee will solidify relationships with current customers and create new sales opportunities within their corporate structure. All sales and marketing efforts will remain in sync and act complementary to one another. The Regional Sales Consultant will lead by example and demonstrate best practices, customer focus and adherence to company procedures and policy. The employee will set the strategic benchmarking efforts by setting achievable milestones, managing the customers' expectations, forecasting to allow for appropriate budgeting for the entire organization, following through with the marketing strategy, conscientious utilization of organizational resources and aiding in the development of sales initiatives and goals.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Aid in the qualification of target markets in which to pursue sales leads
- Identify sales tools to assist the entire sales team in lead generation and tracking
- Track reactive and proactive leads and identify effective lead sources and tactics that generate adequate return on investment (ROI)
- Ability to communicate and document inbound leads in an effective manner
- Identifying seminars and networking events that will solidify current relationship and build new ones that have revenue potential
- Responsible for the growing and nurturing of accounts while being measured by way of performance reviews, development plans and accountability while establishing account follow-up protocol for every lead as well as conducting post mortems to evaluate lost opportunities
- Foster customer focused sales methodologies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention while brining in new business and nurturing current accounts

- Must have superior communication skills, including use of Microsoft products to generate sales tools and status reports, collect and distribute schedules and email while properly managing expense reports.

- Ability to present on behalf of Sure Light Sign Company during customer meetings.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.

Equivalent experience considered with 3-5+ years in a sales roll within the construction, manufacturing or related field.
- Specific experience with a sign company or in the construction trades that operate on a local, regional or national level is a plus.
- Computer literate and fluent in Microsoft applications including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications as well as ACT CRM.
- Comfortable tracking forecasting and managing projects utilizing computer-based project tracking systems.
- Experience working with permit and inspections departments from various municipalities
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of building construction, construction plans and basic understanding of electrical wiring.
